85- Making dreams tangible

Yesterday, I was invited to visualize the future: A future that worked for all people and the planet.

I couldn’t do it. As hard as I tried, that future was, at best, a series of vague buzzwords.

This morning, I was invited to do a similar exercise. The prompt began with a tangible example of a present-day initiative that worked for all people and the planet. And only after I articulated that did the envisioning phase begin.

It was a lot easier this time around.

It might feel paradoxical, but having a tangible anchor makes it easier to dream. If you’re struggling to envision the future you want, start with the closest example you can find. It just might help.
