When eating at a buffet, the value of the meal is decided by what ends up in your belly. Merely having a great selection of food is not enough. You need to select the tastiest morsels, bring them back to the table, and eat them to benefit from that selection.
Experiences are similar. Participation alone creates very little value. The value comes from taking the time to reflect, process, and integrate what emerged from the experience.
Whether it’s a new perspective that needs to be applied, a friendship to deepen, or a topic to explore – the experience buffet is just there to provide the spark of inspiration.
The rest is up to you.
