The last time I saw my two-year-old nephew was almost six months ago.
Since then, he’s become a lot more self-conscious.
The minute I walk into the room, he goes from being playful, curious, and enthusiastic to shy, subdued, and insecure.
In other words, he’s already learned to restrain his vibrant personality.
As adults, we do the same. We spend a lot of time restricting ourselves to showing up how we think we #should, rather than how we naturally would.
Who might we be if nobody was watching? What would we do? How would we show up in the world?
