Play is something I’ve struggled to bring into my life.

The severity of pressing global issues combined with the #privilege , #responsibility , and duty I feel towards others creates the belief that there is no time for play.

Yet, #play is one of the most effective ways to grow and learn. It takes us away from anxiety and depression into the present, makes us more creative by creating space for #experimentation and #exploration , and helps us develop resiliency by forging new and unexpected friendships and relationships.

For us issue-driven folks, play is a critical tool we need to learn how to wield. After all, if saving the world was more fun, more people would get involved.
