I love solving problems
I find the process of taking something complicated, breaking it down into smaller parts, and experimenting with different strategies, fascinating.
As a result, I often enter conversations and projects looking for problems to solve even when there might be none.
If you search for problems, you’ll always find them – but that doesn’t mean they’re necessarily important or need solving.
A better skill to have is the ability to solve problems before they become problems. Perhaps the right balance is an aversion to problems combined with a love for problem-solving.
