I unintentionally spent the last couple of days forest bathing.
I would park the RV on the side of a remote road to check out the scenery, stretch my legs, and notice the sounds around me slowly change.
And as the dominating rumble of tires hitting the road faded away – the gentle sounds of wildlife playing and leaves rustling would start to surface. A deep, refreshing, and expansive feeling would follow.
Listening to online chatter feels similar. The loudest, most aggressive voices are so omnipresent that we hardly notice them sapping our energy away. Only when taking the time to step away and tune those voices out can we appreciate and remember how interconnected we are.
Don’t be the noise. Louder is not better.
