88- Don’t be a logic bully

We’ve all experienced the feeling of irrational fear or discomfort.

In those moments, it’s nearly impossible to explain away our feelings. It’s because those feelings don’t just need to be understood. They need to be processed.

Processing requires time and space for internal questioning, exploration, and resolution.

When arguments arise between parties, it’s often because one party is trying to rationalize the other into immediate submission.

Being a logic bully doesn’t work – even when all your arguments are accurate. If resolution is the goal, find ways to create space rather than to occupy it.
