48/365 – ” What helps you recharge? ”

One way I love to recharge is by being around interesting people.

Their presence adds chaos, surprise, and unpredictability to my life by forcing me out of my own head and into the present.

But after my extrovert battery is drained, being social no longer becomes an option as I find myself slowly slipping back into the confines of my mind, filled with anxiety and worries for the future.

Recently, I’ve been exploring different embodied practices requiring a minimum of intellectual interaction and a maximum amount of connection and concentration.

Acro-yoga has been one of those experiments, and it’s surprising how refreshed I feel after just an hour of play.

It’s almost like meditation, except I get to exercise and connect with others simultaneously.
