43/365 – ” What Keystone art pieces come to mind when you think of social movements? ”

I’ve been trying to understand the role of art in social change.

Specifically, I’m interested in learning about the keystone art pieces that enabled and fueled social movements like the mass mobilization efforts of WW II, the George Floyd protests, and election campaigns around the world.

I’m curious to learn more about how Propaganda is designed on behalf of dictators and democracies alike.

I have a theory that by better understanding how these are created, we can better leverage the power of art to create a sustainable and regenerative future for all.
