41/365 – ” What kind of person are you when you’re with me? ”
Different people bring out the best and worst in us.
A 40-year-old hanging out with their parents might find themselves reverting to teenage habits, while a young professional hanging around a mentor might push themselves to shine.
Hence the famous maxim: ” You are the sum of the five people you hang out with the most. ”
But equally important to consider is what our presence brings out in others. Do we help bring out the best in our friends, or do we enable them to default to their worst?
